If you use rubrics throughout the semester that are similar, the "Copy Rubric" feature can save you some time. You can copy your own rubrics, or you can copy rubrics that were created and shared publicly by other instructors.

Copying one of your own rubrics

To copy a rubric:

  1. Navigate to the Rubrics tool in your Isidore course site.
  2. Locate the rubric you wish to copy and click on the Copy (two pieces of paper) icon.
  3. Enter a title for the new copy of the rubric and click on Save.
  4. You can now make changes to the new rubric, without worrying about modifying the original.

Copying a publicly shared rubric

To copy a rubric from the "Publicly Shared Rubrics" section:

  1. Navigate to the Rubrics tool in your Isidore course site.
  2. Expand the "Publicly Shared Rubrics" section by clicking on the > symbol next to "Public Rubrics".
  3. To use one of the rubrics in your own site, click on the two pieces of paper icon (copy icon) in the "Actions" column next to the rubric you would like to use.
  4. A copy of the rubric will appear in the "Site Rubrics" section above. You can modify the rubric and use it within your course site.

Copying a featured rubric

To copy a rubric from the "Featured Rubrics" section:

  1. Navigate to the Rubrics tool in your Isidore course site.
  2. Expand the "Featured Rubrics" section by clicking on the > symbol next to "Featured Rubrics".
