Add/Edit/Delete a Blog Entry

Adding a Blog Entry
To add an entry to your blog:
- Navigate to the Blogs tool in your course site.
- Click on Add blog entry.
- Enter a title for your blog post.
- Enter the text of your blog post in the provided text box.
- By default, your blog post will be publicly viewable, so anyone with the link could access it. If you wish for only you and the instructor and teaching assistants to view your blog post, select the "Only site administrator and I can see this entry" option. If you wish for all class participants, but not the public, to be able to access your blog post, select the "All members of this site can see this entry" option.
- Click on Publish entry to make your blog post available to others. You can also click on Save Draft if you want to come back in to edit your blog post and publish it later.
Editing a Blog Entry
To edit a blog entry you made, or to change who can see it:
- Navigate to the Blogs tool in your course site.
- Click on your name from the main blog page.
- Locate the entry you wish to edit.
- Click on Edit entry.
- Make the desired changes.
- Click on Publish entry.
Removing a Blog Entry
To remove a blog entry you made:
- Navigate to the Blogs tool in your course site.
- Click on your name from the main blog page.
- Locate the entry you wish to delete.
- Click on Remove entry.
- Click on OK to confirm removal.
