Conversations
The Conversations tool allows students and instructors to create questions and discussion topics that everyone can respond to. It's very unstructured compared to the Forums tool you may be familiar with, as students have the ability to create question and discussion topics.

FAQs
A question is still showing as "Unanswered" even though someone has answered it. How do I change that?
A question will appear as "Unanswered" until the instructor answers it.
How do I enable upvoting for discussion topics?
At this time, upvoting is only available for question topics.
All of my topics are locked. How do I unlock them?
If all topics are locked, navigate to the Settings area and ensure that the "Prevent any more authoring on this site" is set to "Off". If that setting is off, then edit each topic and make sure that the date settings are correct.
How do I enable anonymous posting?
You can allow for anonymous posting by visiting the Settings area and setting the "Allow Anonymous Posting" option to "On". Next, "Anonymous" and "Anonymous Posts" must be enable in the topic settings. However, students also need
to check the box next to "Post anonymously" when they're answering a question or replying to a discussion.
Note: The instructor will always see the name of the topic or post author, regardless of the anonymous setting.
Can topics be restricted to groups?
Yes, topics can be restricted to groups. First, groups should be created in the Site Info tool. Next, topics can be created or edited so that the "Post to" setting is set to "Only member of selected groups".
