External tools are also referred to as LTI tools. LTI stands for Learning Tools Interoperability, a standard created by IMS Global Learning Consortium. LTI tools allow you to bring rich content into Learning Management Systems, like Isidore. To install external tools into your course site, visit the Site Info tool and click on Add/Remove Tools. Click on External Tools near the bottom of the page to expand the list.
Cengage MindLinks, ProctorU, WW Norton, ExamSoft, Student Success Network, and McGraw-Hill Connect are already configured in Isidore for you to use. Please keep in mind that you must purchase access from the company before you have access to some of these tools.
