View Profile

The Isidore Profile tool allows you to display your official University photo throughout Isidore. Some fields in your profile are automatically populated from Porches/Banner. You must opt-in to have your picture displayed throughout Isidore. If you wish, you can also record the pronunciation of your name via the NameCoach tool.

Viewing your Profile

To view your profile:

1. Click on the circle that contains your initials or profile picture in the top right hand corner of Isidore.
2. Click on the Profile link.
3. Your profile is displayed on the screen and you can choose a photo to display in Isidore or record your name pronunciation if you wish.

Displaying your Profile Picture

To display your profile picture:

1. Click on the circle that contains your initials or profile picture in the top right hand corner of Isidore.
2. Click on the Profile link.
3. Hover over your initials or profile image and a "Change Picture" button will appear. Click on Change Picture.
4. If you would like your official UD photo to be displayed in Isidore, check the box next to "Show my official institutional image to others" and click on the Save Profile Image Settings button then Close.

Hiding your Profile Picture

To hide your profile picture:

1. Click on the circle that contains your initials or profile picture in the top right hand corner of Isidore.
2. Click on the Profile link.
3. Hover over your initials or profile image and a "Change Picture" button will appear. Click on Change Picture.
4. If you would like your official UD photo to be hidden in Isidore, uncheck the box next to "Show my official institutional image to others" and click on the Save Profile Image Settings button then Close.

Adding your Name Pronunciation Recording

To record the proper pronunciation of your name with NameCoach:

1. Click on the circle that contains your initials or profile picture in the top right hand corner of Isidore.
2. Click on the Profile link.
3. You'll be able to record your name's pronunciation by clicking on the Create Name Pronunciation button.
4. Make sure your information is correct in the recording popup window.
5. At the bottom of the recording popup, you can record your name by having the NameCoach system call you, or by using a web recorder.
6. Once you've created your pronunciation recording, you can listen to it and re-record if necessary.
7. Click the Submit and Finish button to create your name pronunciation recording.
8. After the page has been refreshed, a play button will appear next to your name on your My Profile page.
9. Click on the play button to listen to your name pronunciation recording.
